I get along with everyone –
as long as I am alone.
Seem familiar? Relationships are something most, if not all, of us long for. Friends with whom to share experiences. A spouse or partner to share intimacy and hopes for the future. A solid relationship with our children, at differing stages of their lives and ours. So – what’s the deal? Why do we have troubles in these close relationships?
So many variables – and only a few that we have any control over, even if we try.
The Enneagram serves a vital and helpful role when we look at relational issues. Unless we are hermits and actually live alone, we need to develop ever better skills and adopt improved behaviors to negotiate the tricky waters of inter-personal actions. Knowing our own style helps – but we do indeed need to keep awareness high, and not expect all (if indeed, any) of the compromise or improvement to come from the other person.
In this workshop, we will look at each Enneagram style’s main strength and main area of contention, the instinctual biases that often are at the root of disagreements and misunderstandings and our ability to stay present – our level of functioning. Gain valuable knowledge and tools so that you feel grounded, balanced and more able to get along with others – even when others are there.
